Rangamati

The beauty of Bangladesh has been increased much for the division of Chittagong, and therefore the Chittagong Hill Tracts. it had been a satisfying experience to explore some extremely beautiful spots in Bandarban, Kaptai, and Rangamati. In my last year tour, two days i used to be in Kaptai and Rangamati and last three days was for Bandarban, which I’ve already described in my previous post about Bandarban Tour. So, will you wish to explore Bangladesh with me? Grab more inside.

You are in Kaptai and not exploring the sweetness of the Karnaphuli River, it's impossible. then we (Me and my friend) decided to remain very almost that river where the Panorama Zoom Restaurant/ Zoom Restora located. This restaurant is run and managed by BGB and here are some beautiful wooden cottages to remain , very secure and scenic, located on the Chittagong-Kaptai Road. there's a separate picnic spot also for the tourists.

Panorama Zoom restaurant is on the 2nd floor. This restaurant is well decorated with wood and other natural materials got wooden stairs also . While eating enjoyed the bird's eye view of the river Karnaphuli too. Outside it had been raining due to the season . Oh, what a tremendous beauty it was!!! it had been just thrilling to explore something new and something beautiful.

We reached this resort by afternoon . where we booked already Venus Cottage for 2 days. Had lunch with Deshi/Bengali Menu (Plain Rice with Rui Fish Curry, veggies and lots of other items). The food taste was yummy cooked inside the restaurant itself and later came to understand that big size Rui fish caught from the Karnaphuli river, this is often something can’t imagine staying at Dhaka.

Next day  we came bent explore Bangladesh within the Kaptai Upazila. We visited Kaptai Lake, Kaptai Dam and Karnaphuli Hydroelectric power plant in Kaptai and therefore the Hanging Bridge in Rangamati. i actually loved hilly roads and every one natural view on the thanks to our next destination, Rangamati. another attractive tourist spots here are Kaptai park , Karnaphuli factory , Rajban Bihar Pagoda and Shubhalang Waterfall.

Karnaphuli River

This largest river isn't only increasing the sweetness among tourists but also playing a really important role for Chittagong division and therefore the Hill Tracts. The Karnaphuli river is that the main source for the Kaptai Dam, it built upon this river. This dam got 16 gates with 2,200 ft long and 150 ft wide. The calm view of this river from the Karnaphuli Bridge was amazingly beautiful. I didn’t want to miss the prospect to require some snaps of this beautiful river during our visit to Rangamati.

Kaptai Lake

During the buildup  of the Kaptai Dam, the reservoir of this dam became Kaptai Lake. This reservoir is one among the gorgeous and main attractive destinations for all travelers in Kaptai Upazila of the Rangamati District. Mostly tourists enjoy boating here. This lake and therefore the dam were created mainly to supply hydroelectric power or hydroelectricity.

Karnaphuli Hydroelectric power plant

This is the sole one hydroelectric power plant within the South Asian country Bangladesh. This power plant built by using the source of the Karnaphuli River water. Special permission requires the upper authority to enter inside to go to the gorgeous Kaptai Dam and therefore the Hydroelectric power station . Visitors aren't allowed photo shooting here. i used to be extremely happy after visiting this power plant . it had been an awesome experience on behalf of me .

Hanging Bridge

All tourists main attraction in Rangamati is Hanging Bridge which built over the Kaptai Lake. For entry, you've got to urge the doorway ticket and from here you'll hire a ship to go to Shubhalang Waterfall. this is often one popular restaurant Peda Ting Ting to taste tribal food. Many boating packages are available to enjoy boating here. Tourists do buy many local handicrafts from the tribal shop outside of this spot.

We came back to our resort for a short time . And afternoon I went for a boating within the Karnaphuli river. I’ve loved the evening walk and therefore the sunset great thing about the riverside from this resort. Furthermore, the amazing calmness, beautiful greeneries, lovely sky with a mountain view is simply quite enough to draw in any nature lovers. Therefore one shouldn't miss exploring the gorgeous Kaptai Upazila and Rangamati District of Bangladesh.
